The Tiny Fig is a small home studio based in beautiful British Columbia. Our focus is to be your one stop shop for gifts and party supplies to celebrate your next special moment.

My name is Beverly Lim, I am the owner, designer and maker of cute gifts and home goods! Growing up, I had a lot of great memories of family gatherings and celebrating milestones with close friends. After welcoming our baby boy in 2021, I was inspired to create happy memories with my little one and I hope to help you celebrate yours too. Wether it is a birthday party, wedding or just to brighten up the home, I want to create products for you and your loved ones to celebrate and remember those important events and milestones together.

Where did the name come from?

The Tiny Fig is a special name to me because it all started with my sister, Connie. In 2007, she wanted to use her self taught talent in illustrator and jewelry design to share the (fig)ments of her imagination. Connie referred to herself as a tiny girl and because many of the items she made were tiny the name, “The Tiny Fig” was born.

Over several years she curated a line of apparel, jewelry and small home goods. You may have even seen her at the Richmond Night Market or craft shows like Make It and Got Craft? The Tiny Fig was a family team effort. Our mom was a seamstress with over 20 years of experience and our dad helped deliver packages as well as pick up supplies. I would help in making the products and running booths at craft shows.

In 2012, my sister passed away and I decided to carry on her work in her memory. The Tiny Fig is close to my heart because it reminds be of how she brought our family closer together. Despite thinking about rebranding and choosing a new name, I always found myself coming back to The Tiny Fig.
